DIGITAL MARKETING STRATEGY

Digital marketing strategy involves creating and implementing a comprehensive plan to promote products or services using various online channels. As the digital landscape continues to evolve, digital marketing strategies need to adapt to effectively engage target audiences and achieve desired outcomes.

SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION

Search engine optimization is the practice of increasing the number of visitors to a website by getting higher rankings in search results. SEO is a way to increase traffic to your site. If people cannot find your website in the first few pages of Google, they may never visit your site.

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

Social Media Marketing (SMM) is a type of Internet marketing that involves using social networking websites to promote products and services. Companies use social media platforms to interact directly with current and potential customers.

Search Engine Optimization

Search engine optimization (SEO) is a marketing practice that improves the visibility of web pages in online search engines. To improve web page rankings, SEO practitioners create high-quality content and ensure that it meets the needs of web users. Additionally, SEO professionals must learn how to strategically add keywords to their sites so search engines can find their content. Various elements contribute to a webpage’s ability to rank high in search results. The key to improving your website’s ranking is to follow best practices and add quality content consistently.

Search engine optimization is a top priority for website owners because it improves their presence in search results. Although many site owners want their web pages to rank high in search results, few people actually know how to do it. Many people think that building links is all you need to rank high in search results; however, that isn’t the case at all. Instead, ranking high involves constantly improving your website’s content and ensuring that all your metadata is correct. Essentially- you must prioritize optimizing your website before you can start optimizing its search engine results. Once you’ve done that, you need to produce high-quality content frequently and correctly attribute it to yourself when necessary. Only then will you be able to rank your pages well.

To rank well in Google’s search engine, SEO practitioners follow a set of best practices known as Link Building Guidelines. These guidelines help website owners build quality links to their sites from other websites. Build quality links are critical because a website’s rank depends on how many quality links it has pointing to it. To build quality links, you must have a website that contains relevant information for the area you’re targeting and be able to monetize it well. After setting up your website, you should next find relevant blogs and social media pages for your topic and contact the administrators of those pages for links back to your site. Doing this repeatedly should enable you to build a large number of relevant links pointing to your site. Once builders have done this work for you, contact them through a forum topic or email them with questions if something goes wrong. Placing links where they’re needed maximizes your website’s SEO potential and helps you climb the ranks in search results!

Apart from Links Building Guidelines, SEO also involves optimizing Metadata Keywords and content on your website. Metadata consists of data attached to digital media or stored on digital devices to enhance or modify information contained on the media or devices. In short- metadata includes description, categorization, navigation and filing information found on any digital file or device! Essentially- metadata helps people find information more easily by describing key aspects of it. Search engines use metadata when crawling websites and assigning them keywords so pages can rank higher in search results. SEO professionals must know how best to optimize metadata so their clients’ websites can rank well in Google’s Search Engine Results Page (SERP).

To understand how SERP works, let us look at an analogy we use daily- the supermarket! When you visit the supermarket, there are several main sections of the store where most items are found- food aisles, clothing sections and general merchandise sections. Each section has its own set of rules governing what products may appear in that area of the store and how these products may be organized. This is similar to how Google crawls the internet and extracts information from websites for users’ browsers to process into meaningful data! Before displaying any webpage results, Google first processes all websites’ metadata into structured data models called Structured Data Models (SDM). From there, its proprietary software compares each webpage against its database of over 6 million keywords to determine which set of keywords best match each webpage’s content! Essentially- as one of the world’s foremost experts on Search.
